Donovan & O’Connor, LLP is pleased to announce that Attorney Marnie Sommer has been selected to the 2014 Massachusetts “Rising Stars” list. Each year, no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Massachusetts are selected by Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections process includes a independent research, peer nomination and peer evaluations.
Attorney Sommer attended Suffolk Law School, earning her J.D. and being admitted to the Massachusetts bar 2009. She began practicing with Donovan & O’Connor, LLP in 2011. Her primary practice areas are Social Security Disability and Disability Insurance, but she also handles Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation, Family Law and Civil Litigation matters. Attorney Sommer works primarily out of the firm’s Pittsfield and North Adams offices, but works on selected cases out of the firm’s Springfield office as well.
