Suit: Doctor’s error caused exchange student’s brain injury

On Behalf of | Apr 11, 2014 | Brain Injuries

A car accident can be traumatic, especially when it results in serious injury. North Adams residents who are rushed to a hospital expect doctors to do everything possible to improve their situations or minimize the effects. A small misstep, like failing to clear someone’s airway, can result in a brain injury that can be life-changing.

Such was the case with a Pakistani exchange student who was enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. In November of last year, he was riding in a vehicle that struck a deer. The young man suffered severe facial and head trauma that put him in a coma for months.
