On May 20, 2015, Attorney Richard Dohoney was named the President of the Berkshire County Bar Association, a nonprofit corporation made up of legal professionals throughout Berkshire County. The Berkshire Bar Association is dedicated to ensuring a high standard of professionalism within the legal field. The association seeks to ensure the effective and efficient administration of justice and serves the public interest by increasing access to the judicial system for all. Attorney Dohoney will serve a two year term as President.
Attorney Dohoney has been an active member of the Berkshire County Bar Association, serving as a member of its executive committee for six (6) years. In addition, he has served on the Civil Litigation Counsel of Massachusetts Bar Association. Attorney Dohoney is a native of Great Barrington and has practiced in Berkshire County since 2004. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation matters and he advised business in secured lending and other transactional matters. In addition, Attorney Dohoney has extensive experience in municipal and regulatory matters.
